The Art and Cultural Department’s mission is to provide a variety of cultural offerings to the community at an affordable cost. We have four facilities with unique art and cultural programs in the city.  

Pembroke Pines Art & Cultural Center

The Pembroke Pines Art and Cultural Center, located at 901 NW 129th Avenue, will be opening this fall.  The art center will offer music, art and drama classes. Studio 18 in the Pines

Studio 18 in the Pines is a fine art gallery and studio work space for professional artists. Eight shows are curated annually as well as field trips, cultural events, workshops, lectures and meetings. Artists may apply for studio work space, exhibit opportunities or to teach adult art classes. Please contact Amelia Mohamed 954-961-6067 for more information.
Susan B. Katz Theater & River of Grass ArtsPark

The River of Grass ArtsPark houses the Susan B. Katz Theater of Performing Arts, a 442 seat venue with 6 allotted handicapped seating area available for rentals to cultural and other performance groups. The Pembroke Pines Theatre of Performing Arts (PPTOPA) also hosts many performances at this facility. The Frank

The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery is a premier exhibition and learning space dedicated to creating a cultural climate to foster connections and community engagement.
