This board was created to provide a venue for youth to engage with the City Commission and learn about local governance, leadership, and civics. As currently adopted, a youth advisory board that reports to and advises the City Commission would be subject to the Sunshine Law which is applicable to all functions of covered boards and commissions, whether formal or informal, which relate to the official actions and duties of the City Commission.
