Captain Adam Feiner has proudly served the City of Pembroke Pines since graduating from the 187th Police Academy in 1998.
Captain Feiner served as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer until 2004, at which time he was transferred to Traffic Division and served as a Motorcycle Squad Officer, as well as a Traffic Homicide Officer. In 2006, Captain Feiner was assigned to the DUI / Aggressive Driving Unit and served in that assignment for two years. In 2008, Captain Feiner was transferred to the K-9 Unit where he served as a canine handler until 2015, when he was subsequently promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
During Captain Feiner’s time as a Sergeant, he oversaw a patrol squad, and next oversaw the Traffic Division and Motor Squad between 2016 – 2019. Captain Feiner was subsequently promoted to rank of Captain in 2019, where he served in the Patrol Division and was responsible for the Field Training Program. Currently, Captain Feiner oversees the Investigations Division which encompasses all investigative units of the agency.
Captain Feiner proudly received agency recognition by being named the 2007 Officer of the Year, and has received numerous letters of appreciation from members of the public.
Captain Feiner attended the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and attended the Nova Southeastern University’s School of Business and earned a Master’s Degree. Captain Feiner is also a graduate of the Public Safety Leadership Academy and the Department of Homeland Security Leadership Academy.
