The City of Pembroke of Pines will adhere to safety instructions of Florida health officials regarding the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19, which originated in China and has since spread across the globe. 

The Florida Department of Health’s dedicated call center for COVID-19 questions and concerns opened on March 2. It is only operational on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The phone number is 866-779-6121, or you can email COVID-19@flhealth.gov.

Parks and Recreation: 

  • All organized sports have been suspended through the Parks and Recreation Department. Dog parks are closed. All pools have been closed and swim lessons cancelled. Playgrounds are closed. All recreation centers, Price Park and Towngate Park are closed, and programming and rentals have been cancelled.  Racquetball courts at WCY are closed, as well as the Fletcher Art Center and the River of Grass Art Park.
