Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County is a 14-acre
living plant museum with 23 spectacular gardens. Each garden
within our collection is a living exhibit, with plants chosen
specifically to tell a story to visitors about choices they can make
within a challenging subtropical climate.
Grounded is an exhibition that celebrates the splendor of the Florida Landscape, featuring sculptures, mixed media, paintings, and watercolors by South Florida artists. Collaborators KX2: Dana Kleinman and Ruth Avra create mathematically inspired sculpture merging metal and painting, presenting works that create awareness of the fragility of our natural ecosystems Opening Reception: Friday, February 3, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Save the date for the Community Peace Picnic presented by the City of Pembroke Pines and Broward County Public Schools. It will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. Residents are encouraged to pack a picnic basket and bring blankets to enjoy storytelling, musical performances and many ways to find peace. There will be awards for the best decorated picnic area. This evening features Business for the Arts Broward and artist partners April Saler, Enrique Cirino, Orla Ananda, and Tucker Creations. In addition to pop up shows and talks, artists and visitors will have the chance to co-create a mixed media art piece. BFA Broward is a not-for-profit organization that educates the business community about the importance of Broward County’s art and cultural community and engages them in building connections between cultural vitality, creative success, and economic development.
The City of Pembroke Pines will be hosting the 13th Annual Taste of Pines event on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center Plaza, located at 601 City Center Way. Tickets through Ticketmaster starting on January 30th at 10am.
The Frank’s new teenager program holds monthly workshops for middle and high school students to explore artistic mediums and creative expression with artist and educator Melanie Oliva.

Walk together outdoors and embark on a self-guided journey through each page of the vibrant children’s book 'Nigel and the Moon' written by Antwan Eady and illustrated by Gracey Zhang. The first 100 families receive a FREE copy of the book.
