Pembroke Pines, FL (December 3, 2019) – Residents, friends, and guests of all ages are cordially welcome to attend The City of Pembroke Pines Snowfest and Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, American Pediatric Dental Group, Naidu Orthodontics and Bright Star Credit Union, on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The event and parking are free and everyone is invited to attend and take part in the festivities.
Snow is in the projected weather forecast for the event as 75 tons of snow will be on the display. Tis the Season for Freezin’ so enjoy a visit from Santa Claus himself, play Reindeer Games, enjoy rides, musical performances, appearances by holiday characters, and visit Santa’s Workshop, Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, Santa’s Toy Land and Be Home for the Holiday season. The Food Truck Invasion, featuring various Pembroke Pines restaurants, will be on the grounds to provide their master creations. Additionally, the concession stands inside City Center will be open to provide you other food options. At 6:30 p.m., the tree Lighting Ceremony in the Plaza will take place to officially kick off the holiday season.
Tickets are required for the snow area only! $4 in advance or $5 Event Day. Tickets can be purchased at the following three Pembroke Pines locations: Charles F. Dodge City Center at 601 City Center Way, Price Park at 901 NW 208th Avenue and Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center at 10500 Taft Street.
