2019 SnowFest and Lighting Ceremony 


Pembroke Pines, FL (November 14, 2019) – Residents, friends, and guests of all ages are invited to attend The City of Pembroke Pines Snowfest and Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, American Pediatric Dental Group, Naidu Orthodontics and Bright Star Credit Union, on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The event and parking are free and everyone is invited to attend.

Snow is in the weather forecast for the event as 75 tons of snow will be showcased.  Tis the Season for Freezin’ so enjoy a visit from Santa Claus himself, play Reindeer Games, enjoy rides, musical performances, appearances by holiday characters, and visit Santa’s Workshop, Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, Santa’s Toy Land and Be Home for the Holidays.  The Food Truck Invasion, featuring various Pembroke Pines restaurants, will be on site to provide favorite delicacies, and the concession stands inside City Center will be open as well.  At 6:30 p.m., the tree Lighting Ceremony in the Plaza will take place to officially kick off the holiday season. 
 
Tickets are required for the snow area only!  $4 in advance or $5 Event Day.  Tickets can be purchased at the following Pembroke Pines locations:  Charles F. Dodge City Center at 601 City Center Way, Price Park at 901 NW 208th Avenue and Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center at 10500 Taft Street.  For additional information on ticket purchases and the Snowfest and the Tree Lighting Ceremony, please call the Special Events Division at 954-392-2116.
