Pembroke Pines, FL (October 31, 2019) – Thousands of Pembroke Pines residents, friends and guests were in attendance as families came together to dress up for a night out in Pembroke Pines and enjoy the annual Halloween event Boo-ville, sponsored by Bright Star Credit Union, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, American Pediatrics and Naidu Orthodontics, both on the plaza and in the Great Hall, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.

The October 30, 2019 event included moon-lit movies on the Plaza, 30 different trick or treat stations, a DJ dance party, arts & crafts, hidden prizes, a costume contest and many more fun activities for the 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. event.  To the delights of children dressed up in every costume one can think of, from Little Red Riding Hood and Captain Marvel to Police Officers, Superman and Batman, large varieties of candy and a wide array of fun were in full swing.

Additionally, those interested in something more than indulging their sweet tooth with candy were able to purchase food and drinks at the concession stands located inside the City Center.  Lastly, Pembroke Pines participated in the Teal Pumpkin project, a program sponsored by The Food Allergy Research and Education Foundation (FARE), which educates the public about food allergies in children.  The Teal Pumpkin stations gave away non-food delicacies and held different game stations outside on the plaza.
