Annual Halloween Event “Boo-Ville”

Pembroke Pines, FL (September 24, 2019) – Hosted by the City of Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, the City’s Annual “Boo-ville” is taking place on Tuesday October 30, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.  This year’s theme is Little Ghouls and Goodies.

With trick or treating and surprises at every turn, Boo-Ville is a Halloween spooktacular event that’s fun for boys and girls of all ages.  Visitors, residents and friends of Pembroke Pines can show off their best Halloween attire and fill their pumpkins and carrying cases with candy while having a fun time. Admission and parking are free.

Boo-Ville is expanding this year from the lobby to the Great Hall and Outside Plaza.  The yearly Halloween extravaganza features moon-lit movies on the Plaza, trick or treat stations, a DJ dance party, arts & crafts, hidden prizes, a costume contest and many more fun activities that you don’t want to miss.  Furthermore, The Teal Pumpkin Project, a national campaign by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), will designate non-food snacks and treats to children at Boo-Ville who have food allergies, and for those whom candy is not an option.

The Costume Contest begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. for ages 0-2, followed by 6:45 p.m. for ages 3-5, 7:00 p.m. for ages 6-8, 7:15 p.m. for ages 9-12, 7:30 p.m. for ages 13-16, 7:45 p.m. for ages 17 and older, and 8:00 p.m. for family groups.
