Pembroke Pines, FL (August 13, 2019) – Honk the horn and grab a seat behind the wheel as residents, friends, guests and children are encouraged to join The City of Pembroke Pines for the Inaugural Touch-A-Truck Vehicle Expo on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Pines Recreation Center Festival Grounds located at 7400 Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines.
A free event, the Touch-A-Truck vehicle expo gives boys’ and girls’ of all ages the opportunity to get an up close and personal look by exploring, climbing and touching the trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery, construction vehicles and all sorts of other equipment used for transportation.
The children will also get an opportunity to meet the personnel and interact with those who serve the Pembroke Pines community as well as protect it, including both police officers and fire fighters. Taking the learning experience to another level, this gives both children and families the chance to ask a wide variety of questions and actually experience what the vehicles are actually like.
Additionally, everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to check out a helicopter and the Pace Racing Car from Homestead Motor Speedway. There will be remote control cars and many more fun activities for the kids as well as delicious food and refreshments from the food truck invasion. Both parking and admission are free of charge.
