Pembroke Pines, FL (August 12, 2019) - Visitors, residents and friends of the City of Pembroke Pines are encouraged to dress in their best retro outfit when they come to enjoy the opening event of “Generations: A Journey Through Time,” a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that represents a nostalgic voyage through the decades, celebrating the last century through sculpture, painting and photography. Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs August 16, 2019 through September 25, 2019.
The free opening reception is this Friday, August 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and will feature wine, refreshments, music by DJ Gruvvn, an opportunity to meet the artists, and a chance to win a prize for the Best Retro Costume!
Exhibition artists include: Ana Aguerrevere, Jerry Biddlecom, Lisa Botto Lee, John Bowen, Megan Castellon, Angelica Clyman, Elizabeth Hagans, Maria Jose Hernandez, Marilyn Johansen, Gabriel Juarez, Magda Kahn, Larry Levine, Reinaldo Lozano, Nicole McKoy, George Moss, Vivian Orozco, Mylene Schrger, Hariette Silverstein, and Dawn Verheylewegen

The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays.
