Pembroke Pines, FL - (March 21, 2019) Visitors and residents of the City of Pembroke Pines are cordially invited to enjoy the opening event of “Spectrum: Palette of Possibilities” a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that showcases the medium of color through abstract art. Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs April 12, 2019 through June 5, 2019. Everyone is welcome to attend and take part in an opening reception being held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, food, music by DJ Gruvvn and an opportunity to meet the artists.
Featured Artists include: Claudia Aguilera, Joshua Alleman, Phillip Alleman, Beth Amato, Patricia Beltran, Tania Bilbao, Blu Lunas, Michael Cairo, Megan Castellon, Gabrielle Esquivel, Liz Friel, Genie Fritchey, Nicole Galluccio, Ronnie Greenspan, Ariadna Harsan, Kay Kiria, Barbara Longwill, Lois Perdue, Phoenix, Karina Matheus, Kelcie McQuaid, Nhora Oritz, Pamela Palma, Jan Roppo, Jacki Rosen, Judith Rostenne, Lianne Sangollo, Diana Shanlatte, Harriet Silverstein, Jennifer Veilleux and Yochi Yakir-Avin
Each of the over twenty participating artists were challenged to discover their unique artistic innovation through the exploration of texture, pigment and movement.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be three free workshops: Brushes, Alive and Well on Canvas with artist Sandy Hill on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Come on in the Water Is Fine with artist Marylyn Johansen on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Recycled Creations Workshop with artist Susie Q on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.

The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays.
