Pembroke Pines, FL (March 12, 2019) – The City of Pembroke Pines, families, friends, guests and artists came together for the 21st Annual ArtFest in the Pines, in partnership with Artserve, on Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, 2019 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
The two-day event was as good as it gets for art lovers. ArtFest offered attendees the best musical entertainment South Florida had to offer, refreshments and delightful snacks from the food truck invasion, hands-on demonstrations, including the opportunity to watch wood turners take a block of wood and create objects for both art and daily use, a farmer's market, pop-up art on the plaza, a kids’ art and game zone, a student art competition, shopping, both adult and children workshops at The Frank Art Gallery on the plaza and many more fun activities for the 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. event.
Lastly, ArtFest in the Pines highlighted an extensive amount of fine arts in categories such as Painting, Digital Art, Fine Handcrafts, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Photography and Wood.
