Pembroke Pines, FL (February 27, 2019) - Registration is currently underway for the 2019 Afternoon and Evening Classes at the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 NW 103rd Avenue in Pembroke Pines.
Adults 18 years of age or older may register for the free membership. When registering for classes please present your membership card. Microsoft Excel for the Workplace
Become a capable and confident Microsoft Excel User. In this class you will obtain the knowledge and skills to edit and create worksheets, add formulas and functions, sort data and much more. Students should bring their own flash drive to save all of their class documents. Classes are available in 6 week sessions in both English and Spanish! Offered on Tuesdays, 2/26/19 - 4/2/19, in English from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and in Spanish on Thursdays, 3/1/19 – 4/5/19, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The fee to take part is $42.00 per person.
Krav Maga Self Defense
Krav Maga is a self-defense system for the Israeli Defense Forces and Israeli Security Forces. It consists of a combination of fighting techniques with a focus on real world situations. Students learn to defend themselves against a wide array of attacks in the quickest and most efficient way possible. Paint & Sip Parties
It does not matter if you have never painted before; everyone is welcome to join the party! Gather up your family, colleagues and friends and book a private painting party! Instructors will guide each participant in the creation of a bright and beautiful painting on stretched canvas. Create art and happy memories at the same time! Each person will take home a one-of-a kind painting and possibly a newly found talent! BYOB of wine and/or snacks, everything else is included! Luna Calé is a professional dance company created to promote flamenco music, dance and Hispanic culture. Our goal is to support growth of both student and professional flamenco artists by sponsoring performances, flamenco music and dance education opportunities.
