Jazz in the Pines

Pembroke Pines, FL – (February 19, 2019) The City of Pembroke Pines Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department welcomes the local community to enjoy a Free Jazz in the Pines concert, sponsored by Memorial Healthcare System, Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the plaza, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
Residents can enjoy a wide repertoire of music by International Jazz Vocalist Nikki Kidd and the Nikki Kidd band.  There is plenty of room to set up lawn chairs, spread a blanket and take in the show with family and friends.

Lastly, The City of Pembroke Pines Art and Cultural Division has incorporated a fun component to the Jazz concerts by adding Live Painting Artists that will complement the featured band.  This Sunday’s painting artist is Stephanie Hibbard.
The next jazz concert will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center. “The Glyn Dryhurst Dixieland Jazz Band” will be performing and Lori Pratico is the accompanying Live Painting Artist.
