Pembroke Pines, FL - (February 12, 2019) Guests and residents of the City of Pembroke Pines are cordially invited to attend the opening event of “Art Unlimited” featuring the Broward Art Guild, a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that represents a celebration of the astounding artwork being created in South Florida. The Broward Art Guild is both the largest and oldest organization of working artists in Broward County. Now in its 68th year, the Broward Art Guild continues to serve as a focal point within the local art community. Located at Studio 18 at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs March 1, 2019 through April 3, 2019. Everyone is welcome to take part in and enjoy an opening reception being held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 7 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, music by DJ Gruvvn and an opportunity to meet the artists.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be a free workshop with artist Sandy Hill: “Brushes, Alive and Well on Canvas,” an introduction to Brushes and Palette Knives, on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to take the opportunity to explore the artistry of brush strokes and control techniques. This is a beginners’ workshop and materials will be provided.

The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays.
