Pembroke Pines, FL (December 12, 2018) -  For the sixth consecutive year, children of the Early Development Center (EDC), East Campus, got an opportunity to experience Career Week where three classrooms were transformed into different career centers specially designed for the children. The event was held at the City of Pembroke Pines EDC East Campus Preschool, located at 6700 S.W. 13th Street in Pines Village.

Career Week featured Publix, The United States Postal Service and a Veterinarian Office.  Children, ages six weeks old to VPK, were able to play and interact for 30 minutes in each center before rotating to a different room.  The Publix center provided children an opportunity to be a baker, shopper and cashier, while The Post Office enabled them to both create and mail out a letter.  At the Vet Office, children could take a patient’s vitals, check them in and experience many more fun activities.
