Pembroke Pines, FL – (December 5, 2018) Contestants enjoyed some friendly competition, seized the magic of the holidays and brought the cooking heat for The Master Chef “Holiday Traditions Around the World” Baking Challenge at the main hall of the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point (SWFP) Community Center Campus located at 301 NW 103rd Avenue in Pembroke Pines (off Johnson Street, one block west of Palm Avenue).     
 
The December 4, 2018 event began promptly at 10:00 a.m. and this year’s winner, Esperanza Venezuela, now has bragging rights as the first place finisher with a cash prize of $50 by wowing the judges with her German Christmas Cake.  Sandra Levine won both the second and third place prizes of $30 and $20 for her German Black Forest Cake and Italian Cannoli Cake.
