Pembroke Pines, FL - (December 4, 2018) Visitors and residents of the City of Pembroke Pines are cordially invited to enjoy the opening event of “Art On Fire: Just Add Water” featuring the Gold Coast Watercolor Society, a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that represents the very best in watercolor and acrylic painting in experimental, modern and traditional styles. Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs January 18, 2019 through February 20, 2019. Everyone is welcome to attend an opening reception being held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, music and an opportunity to meet the artists.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be two free workshops with artist Teresa Kirk: “Getting Your Feet Wet With Watercolor”, an introduction to the beautiful medium of watercolor, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and “Come On In, The Water is Fine” on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. These are beginners’ workshops and materials will be provided. The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays.
