Pembroke Pines, FL (December 3, 2018) - Thousands were in attendance as Pembroke Pines residents  came together to bring in the holidays and enjoy the annual Christmas event, Snowfest, sponsored by BrightStar Credit Union, American Pediatrics, Naidu Orthodontics and  Memorial Healthcare Systems. The event was held on the plaza at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. 

The December 1, 2018 event included 75 tons of snow to play in, an appearance by Santa Claus himself with photo opportunities, Reindeer Games, rides, musical performances, arts and crafts, holiday characters, a visit to Santa’s Workshop, tree lighting ceremony and many more fun activities that occurred during the hours of 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Families and friends, dressed in their Christmas and holiday attire, relaxed on lounge chairs and benches throughout the late afternoon and early evening to enjoy the wide array of entertainment provided by the City of Pembroke Pines.  The free event also included rides and bounce houses and visitors had an opportunity to enjoy the many delicious snacks available from The Food Truck Invasion.
