Pembroke Pines, FL – (November 27, 2018) Everyone is invited to put their baking skills to the test and satisfy the taste buds of others as the Master Chef “Holiday Traditions Around the World” Holiday Baking Challenge is right around the corner. The event starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in the main hall of the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 NW 103rdAvenue in Pembroke Pines.
Participants can showcase their delicious holiday desserts from around the world such as cakes, tarts, Italian cookies, flans, puddings and croissants. Holiday bakers can tickle the fancy of the judges’ palates by taking them on a sweet treat journey like no other and go home with some extra cash. The money prize goes to first, second and third place winners. All SWFP members interested in taking part can obtain the necessary forms at the Activities Desk. Participants must fill out and submit their Entry forms by no later than Monday, December 3, 2018.
To be a part of the challenge, contestants are encouraged to seize the enchantment of the holidays by bringing in their favorite home baked holiday dessert. Only home baked submissions, with provided ingredients, will be permitted – Candy is not permitted. All participants must be SWFP members and present to win.
Participants are encouraged to be innovative and keep in mind that judges are not only looking for the best tasting delicacies, they are also looking for those that provide the best aroma and presentation.
