Pembroke Pines, FL (October 9, 2018) - Please join The City of Pembroke Pines for the Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Pembroke Pines Memorial Park, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The event is free and everybody is invited to attend. Hot dogs and refreshments will be served upon conclusion of the ceremony.
The ceremony honors members of the United States Military, both past and present that bravely served in the United States Armed Forces. The program will include the presentation of colors by the Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Department Honor Guards, guest speakers from multiple US Services, comments from City Officials and patriotic music played by the Pembroke Pines Charter Middle School West Campus.
Commemorative bricks honoring United States Military Veterans and loved ones will be available for purchase. You can leave a personal message on each brick for the one that holds a special place in your heart. The bricks are installed at the base of the Pembroke Pines Veterans Memorial.
