Pembroke Pines, FL (September 18, 2018) – The time is now to take charge of your personal health as the local community is invited to attend the 23rd Annual Health Fair on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 1:00p.m. at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 N.W. 103rd Avenue in Pembroke Pines (off Johnson Street, one block west of Palm Avenue). The Annual Health Fair is free of charge and open to the public. The Health Fair provides health screenings including cholesterol, hearing tests, blood pressure checks, body mass index, exercise class demonstrations and much more.
Participants can visit with up to 50 healthcare companies and service agencies who will provide both education and resources on all aspects of health, fitness, wellness and lifestyle improvements. The Health Fair also includes entertainment, give-a-ways, food tasting, a continental breakfast and a chance to win raffles donated by health care exhibitors.
