Pembroke Pines, FL (August 28, 2018) - Military veterans of the United States are welcome to attend the Fourth Annual Employment Expo, for both active and retired duty personnel, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 NW 103rd Avenue in Pembroke Pines. The Veterans Employment Expo will be open to the general public beginning at noon.
More than 50 different companies and 15 social service agencies are expected to offer their help and knowledge to support the women and men of the United States Military that are wanting to get back into the job market. The annual Veterans Employment Expo is an addition to the City of Pembroke Pines Re-Energize and Re-Connect Initiative. The objective is to provide both housing and resources at the R & R Village, located on the Howard C. Forman Services Campus, for members of the military that are either active or have been honorably discharged.
