September 11 Ceremony
The Patriot Day, September 11, 2018 Remembrance Ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center Memorial Park located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines. Let’s honor the fallen. Ceremony includes Presentation of Colors, patriotic music and remarks by Pembroke Pines Mayor Frank C. Ortis and other city officials. The event is free to attend. Jazz in the Pines Concert
Enjoy a free Sunday concert, weather permitting, on September 23, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines. Enjoy the relaxing music performed by the band Electric Piquete. Spend time with family, friends and fellow Pines residents. For utmost comfort, bring a chair and blanket. Bow Wow Ween and Miss Bow Wow Ween Contest
Does your dog have the best Halloween Costume? Show us from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday October 13, 2018 for the sixth annual Bow Wow Ween event at the Pembroke Pines K9 Officer Craig Rupp Dog Park located at 9751 Johnson Street (just east of Palm Avenue). Bow Wow Ween is the pinnacle of Halloween parties for dogs and their owners. Bow Wow Ween includes a dog costume contest by category: Miss Bow Wow Ween, Best Family Costume, cutest, scariest and funniest costumes, Most Original Costume with an awards presentation, dog games, pet vendors and a raffle for those who register at the event. Register your pretty female pooches in the Miss BOW WOW WEEN 2018 contest held at BOW WOW WEEN. Free Sunday Concert held weather permitting on October 21, 2018 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way. Enjoy a free and relaxing afternoon with music by the band Sound of Vision. No pets are allowed. Bring a blanket and chair for maximum comfort. BOO-VILLE
Show off those Halloween Costumes and trick or treat at Boo-ville on October 30, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way. Enjoy the free event with family and friends. There will be pumpkin patches with hidden prizes, a costume contest, rides, movies, the Food Truck Invasion and much more. Veterans Day Ceremony
Let’s honor the brave women and men of the United States military on November 11, 2018 at the Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center Memorial Park located at 601 City Center Way. The ceremony starts at noon and includes the presentation of colors and guest speakers; refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event. No pets are allowed. SnowFest & Lighting Ceremony
Don’t miss the holiday fun on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025. Come see snow in Florida. We will be featuring 75 tons of it as well as visits from Santa, face painting, games, rides, musical entertainment, the food truck invasion and more. Santa’s Holiday Hotline
Who wants to talk to Santa? Santa will call pre-registered children, ages 10 and younger, sometime between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on any day from December 18 through December 20, 2018. The event is free for Pembroke Pines children that have been pre-registered by a parent.
