Pembroke Pines, FL – (July 25, 2018) The City of Pembroke Pines Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department welcomes the local community to enjoy Free Jazz in the Pines concerts, when they resume September 23rd, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way.
Residents can stimulate their minds, relieve stress and enjoy relaxing to an array of music sure to delight all ages. There is plenty of room to set up lawn chairs, spread a blanket and take in the show with family and friends.
No pets are allowed. All concerts are held weather permitting and subject to change.
Fall 2018 Jazz in the Pines concert schedule:
September 23, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Band: Electric Piquete
October 21, 2018 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
November 18, 2018 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
December 16, 2018 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
About Electric Piquete: They are a Latin funk / fusion band from Miami best known for fiery originals and inventive interpretations of Latin and jazz standards. Named “Best Latin Band” by the Miami New Times in 2009 and 2015, the band is a melting pot of influences that range from rock to jazz and spiced with everything in between: funk, fusion, old-school salsa, progressive and R&B.
