Pembroke Pines, FL - (July 11, 2018) Visitors and residents of the City of Pembroke Pines are invited to enjoy the opening event of “Ancient Legacy:  Myths and Legends” a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that showcases the eternal stories that connect the essence of humanity.  Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs August 10, 2018 through September 20, 2018. Everyone is welcome to attend an opening reception being held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 7 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, music and an opportunity to meet the artists.

Featured Artists include:  Nazli Amir, Patricia Bertisch, Michael Cairo, Karl Jerry Craig, Erika Figueroa, Osvaldo Gonzalez, James Hall, Wanda Paulette Harris, Holly Hughes, Jamie Husley, Marine Josephine, Jill Lefkowitz, Reinaldo Lozano, Marisa Montesino, Nixon Morin, Alba Olea, Michelle Oravitz, Marielle Plaisir, Pamela Palma, Jan Roppo, Jennifer Veilleux, Jenn Walls and Andrea Saavedra.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be a free workshop called Ancient Indigenous Story Circle with Native Elder.  This is a beginner’s workshop with artist Wayne William Snellgrove on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Materials will be provided.  Participants should RSVP at 954-961-6067 by Monday, August 13, 2018.
 
The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays.
