Pembroke Pines, FL – (July 10, 2018) Put your cooking skills to the test as the Master Chef “Crazy Coconut” Summer Baking Challenge fast approaches. The event begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 17th at the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 NW 103rdAvenue in Pembroke Pines.
Showcase your great tasting coconut custard, coconut pie, macaroons or any other dessert containing the key ingredient of coconut and give yourself an opportunity to take home some extra cash. The money prize goes to first, second and third place winners. All SWFP members interested in taking part can obtain the necessary forms at the Activities Desk. Participants must fill out and submit their Entry forms by no later than Monday, July 16th.
This event will be judged by the experts from Vicky Bakery. Only home baked entries, with provided ingredients, will be permitted – NO candy. All participants must be SWFP members and present to win. Be creative and keep in mind, judges are not only looking to satisfy their taste buds with the best tasting desserts, they are also looking for the tropical treats that provide the best appearance and aroma.
