Learn to Swim

Pembroke Pines, FL (June 19, 2018) - The City of Pembroke Pines offers summer swimming lessons for people of every age.  It is never too late to learn how to swim, especially when living in South Florida. Lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors at three different Pembroke Pines locations:  Pembroke Lakes Tennis and Aquatics Center located at 10500 Taft Street, Towngate Pool at 901 N.W. 155th Avenue and lastly, Price Park Pool at 901 NW 208th Avenue. 

Swimming lessons are held in two-week sessions, Monday through Thursday. The last summer swim session will be held on August 20, 2018.  Registration for swimming lessons can be made at the City of Pembroke Pines Towngate Park located at 901 N.W. 155th Avenue every Monday through Thursday from 12:00 noon until 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
 
The swimming session Fee is $45.00 for residents of Pembroke Pines and $57.00 for non-residents.  Additionally, The City of Pembroke Pines is offering water aerobics for those looking to increase both their cardiovascular endurance and muscle tone.  The water aerobics program is offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Pembroke Lakes Pool located at 10500 Taft Street starting at 9 a.m and lasting for 45 minutes.  The cost is $3 daily or $50 for a total of 20 classes.
