2018 Art Exhibition Featuring
Studio 18 in the Pines ArtistsPembroke Pines, FL – The opening of a new exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines, “Once Upon a Time – the Art of Costume & Design,” highlights Artists’ creativity regarding the time-honored tradition and artistry of both costume design and fabrication. Guests at the opening exhibit, which took place on May 25, 2018 and runs through July 18, 2018, enjoyed the newest works of art as well as complimentary refreshments, prizes and a free raffle.
On display are the works of many talented artists such as John Ashford, Sierra Decordova, Stephanie Johnson, Magda Khan, Lorena Lopez, Nora Marvelli, Rachel Marvelli, Patricia McCaw, Marisa Motesino, Nicole Mucher, Vivian Orozco, Anthony Ruiz, Olga Saretsky and Jeffery Senderak. The newest showcase enables visitors to consider and understand the innovative processes of the artists themselves.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be a free workshop called SEW WHAT! This is a Costuming beginner’s workshop with artist Nicole Mucher on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Materials will be provided. Participants should RSVP at 954-961-6067 by June 4, 2018. The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays. Parking and admission into the studio are free.
