Pembroke Pines, FL… October 18, 2017….Pembroke Pines residents are invited to enjoy “Coffee with the Mayor” on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Lobby of the City of Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. Also during Florida City Government Week held this year from October 23 through 29, 2017, everyone is invited to participate in an on-line Pembroke Pines Trivia “Did You Know…?” by visiting the City of Pembroke Pines Facebook page www.facebook.com/cityofpembrokepines  
 
Mayor Ortis commented “This year’s theme Pembroke Pines:  I’m Part of It, I’m Proud of it, is so fitting.  I enjoy opportunities to discuss our beautiful city. Through the years, we have increased services and developed significant amenities for our residents.”  
 
Florida City Government Week, sponsored by the Florida League of Cities, is a time to showcase cities and recognize the significant role played by city government in the lives of its citizens. The League is the official organization of the municipal governments in Florida, designed and established to meet and serve the needs of Florida’s cities and their citizens.
