City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter
Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus

Pembroke Pines, FL…May 4, 2017…. People 60 years and older are invited to register for the Seventh Annual Senior Spelling BEE hosted by the City of Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus located at 301 N.W. 103^rd Avenue. Please register prior to May 10, 2017 for the popular and friendly spelling competition. The contest begins at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 16, 2017 and cash prizes are awarded to the First Place, Second Place and Third Place winners! A Webster's Dictionary will be consulted via laptop for definitions and sentences. 

"We recommend potential contestants cozy up to their favorite edition of Webster's Dictionary for the next few weeks," said Helen Daniels, Recreation Division Supervisor at The Center.
