Introducing Martha Schrier
“Lady Pines” 2017
Pembroke Pines, FL… April 17, 2017 …. The winner of “Lady Pines” 2017 was contestant number six Martha Schrier, a 76 year old dynamo with personality plus. During the contest held at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus, a panel of judges evaluated the ten contestants on their style, charisma and personality. Contestants participated in a seated interview and answered a random question they pulled from a glass bowl. “Lady Pines” Emcee Jay Shechter, Director of Community Services and Housing for the City of Pembroke Pines commented, “Our contestants are beautiful ladies, on the inside and the outside. Many of them volunteer in the community, they love their families, they love life and they all love Pembroke Pines.”
During her 2017 reign, Lady Pines Martha Schrier will attend events hosted by the City of Pembroke Pines and also be introduced to the community on April 22, 2017 at the City of Pembroke Pines “57th Pines Day” Birthday Celebration at the new Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way

Lady Pines contestants were presented floral bouquets donated by Pines Care Medical Center. The judges for Lady Pines 2017 were Sandra Sayas from Pines Care Medical Center and Costco Representatives Bob DeSanti and Ruby Ulett.Residents and snowbirds looking for a new place to visit to meet new people, visit with friends, have a bite to eat, take classes, volunteer and much more are invited to visit
