Pembroke Pines Launches Hurricane Melissa Relief Efforts

Pembroke Pines, FL (October 29, 2025) – As Hurricane Melissa continues to carve a path of destruction across the Caribbean islands, the City of Pembroke Pines has launched a relief effort to support our island neighbors in light of this storm’s devastation. Residents and businesses are encouraged to donate supplies at the designated locations and join the City of Pembroke Pines in helping those impacted by one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes to make landfall in history.

Relief Effort Details

Suggested needed items include:

Tarps, Water, Flashlights, Sleeping Bags, Batteries, Large Trash Bags, Tents, Work Gloves, Canned Goods (1+ year expiration date), Solar Powered Lights, Hygiene Kits, Baby Diapers and First Aid Kits.

No Used Clothing or Linens will be accepted.

Anyone wishing to donate money can visit the American Red Cross website at https://www.redcross.org/donations/ways-to-donate.

Items can be dropped off from 7 am to 7 pm at the following Pembroke Pines Fire Stations:
