Pickleball Ribbon Cutting 

 Pembroke Pines, FL (March 11, 2025) – The City of Pembroke Pines invites the public to an Opening Celebration for two new pickleball court ribbon cutting events which will be held on Thursday, March 20th at 7:00 PM at Maxwell Park, located at 1200 SW 72nd Ave, and on Thursday, March 27th at 7:00 PM at Silver Lakes South Park, located at 17601 SW 2nd Street. 

Details 

Everyone is welcome to join us as we celebrate the grand opening of our brand-new pickleball courts. The evening will feature the ribbon-cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and giveaways. Attendance is free. Pickleball is a popular paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong with teams of singles or doubles. The City of Pembroke Pines offers 16 Pickleball courts throughout the city – in addition to the courts at Maxwell Park and Silver Lakes South Park, there are courts at Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center, located at 10500 Taft Street.
