Flea Market & Seniors vs. Seniors Spelling Bee
Pembroke Pines, FL (January 14, 2025) – The Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Flea Market and Bazaar will be back and open to the public on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 8 AM to 3 PM and on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 9 AM to 3 PM. Additionally, the 9th Annual Seniors vs Seniors Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Center, located at 301 NW 103rd Avenue.
Flea Market and Bazaar | February 1-2
Over 100 indoor vendors featuring an array of treasures will be available for shoppers at the Flea Market and Bazaar. Admission and parking are free. Come early, come more than once. For more information, please call the Center at 954-450-6888.
9th Annual Seniors vs. Seniors Spelling Bee | February 18
The Seniors vs. Seniors Spelling Bee is a fun tradition that brings generations together. It will be a friendly competition featuring Pembroke Pines Charter High School Seniors and Southwest Focal Point (SWFP) Senior Citizens. Winners will have their names engraved on a perpetual cup trophy and bragging rights for the upcoming year.
The SWFP members participating in the 2025 spelling bee must be at least 60 years of age. The event is free for Center members, and a SWFP Membership Card is required to participate. Charter School Seniors are from the 12th grade and registered through their school to take part in the competition. For more information, please call at the Center at 954-450-6888.
