Save The Date - Snowfest
For Pembroke Pines Residents
Pembroke Pines, FL (October 24, 2024) – Pembroke Pines residents are saving the date for one of the most favorite events of the year – Snowfest. For Pembroke Pines residents only, the Annual Snowfest Event will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way. “A Frosty Candyland,” Snowfest will get all ages in the holiday spirit with Santa and his friends in attendance, tons of snow to play in and an opportunity to slide down the 10-foot dual slides.
Event Details
The air will be filled with the sounds of the holidays with over 400 singers and dancers on the holiday stage. There will also be different themed areas for family holiday photo opportunities with Santa, Mrs. Claus and some friendly North Pole friends and elves. Santa and City officials will be ready for everyone to help count down the Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled at 6:30 pm.
Snowfest activities also include an Ugly Sweater Contest with roaming judges who will award prizes for the “Best” or in this case “The Ugliest Holiday Sweater;” a “Baking Spirits Bright” activity at which six families will compete for the Best Gingerbread Home Contest with prizes; and there will be concessions and food trucks available for food and beverage purchases. Free parking, free rides and free holiday activities combine to make this event an amazing start to the holidays. Please note that no pets are allowed.
TICKETS
The tickets are free and for Pembroke Pines Residents Only – they need to be picked up in person with proof of residency prior to the event. Ticket availability is limited and on a first come, first served basis starting Monday, November 4, 2024, at Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center Monday- Friday 8:30 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. Tickets will also be available at the Towngate Recreation Center located at 901 NW 155th Avenue. Monday- Friday 9:30 am to 8 pm and Saturday-Sunday 10 am to 5 pm.
