FREE Sandbags

For Pembroke Pines Residents

MEDIA ALERT

Pembroke Pines, FL (October 6, 2024) -- To support our community and with the prediction of heavy rains from approaching storms, free sandbags are now being distributed at the below location today (Sunday, October 6) until 5 pm and tomorrow (Monday, October 7) from 8:00 am until 5 pm. Limit 5 bags per household, proof of Pembroke Pines residency is required. Residents are required to fill their own bags; City will supply sand, bags, and shovels. Assistance will be provided to the elderly and persons with disabilities.
