Alert - Storm Closings

Pembroke Pines, FL  (November 9, 2022) -- The administrative offices (City Hall, Public Services, Community Services, Police/Fire (non-critical response personnel) and park locations will be closed Thursday, November 10, 2022, due to the anticipated tropical storm winds due to Hurricane Nicole. 
 
As Broward Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 10^th, the Pembroke Pines Charter Schools and Early Development Centers will also be closed on Thursday.
 
Please also be advised that the administrative offices (City Hall, Public Services, Community Services, Police/Fire (non-critical response personnel) will close today, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 3:30 PM to allow everyone to drive home early when it is still daylight due to the anticipated tropical storm winds due to Hurricane Nicole. 

Garbage service will proceed and will stop only if there are sustained winds of 35 mph. Bulk Service for Zone #4 will be suspended Thursday, Nov. 10th and will resume once weather allows.
 
Please monitor the City’s website at www.ppines.com for further information in case the tropical storm winds last longer than expected and/or there are flooding issues.
