Pembroke Pines, FL - (August 23, 2022) Visitors, residents and friends of the City of Pembroke Pines are cordially invited to enjoy the opening event of “The Thread that Connects Us.” This exhibition was specially created from works of art symbolizing connection using both threads and fibers to images. This exhibition demonstrates the bonds that we have with one another and with our place on Earth. It showcases the rhythms and networks that are present on our relationships with people, places and things. The artworks in the exhibition present images that seek for meaning and understanding of the environment around us and within us, and how in that quest we are all connected.
Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs September 16, 2022 through November 2, 2022. Everyone is welcome to take part in and enjoy an opening reception being held on Friday, September 15, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, music by DJ Chris Hodgson, and an opportunity to meet the artists.
The upcoming Exhibition will include the creative works by well-known South Florida artists such as Mary Gallagher Stout, Alicia Rodriguez, Ana Aguerrevere, Yochi Yachir-Avin, Kandy Lopez, Autumn Kioti, Felisa Prieto, Andrea Huffman, Michelle Drummond, Kristin Beck and Jill Lefkowitz.
