Pembroke Pines, FL (May 4, 2022) – Children in Pembroke Pines and across the nation are welcome to take part in the upcoming Twelfth Annual Kids to Park Day on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Residents are invited to enjoy free play which includes fun activities and swimming at several of the locations listed below:

Recognized as a day of endorsing outdoor play in parks by the National Park Trust (NPT), the program continues to evolve. Children and families are encouraged by both the NPT and the City of Pembroke Pines to discover neighborhood parks, enjoy nature, the science that surrounds them and develop a greater sense of awareness and admiration for their environment.
Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. The day connects kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events that promote discovery and exploration in the great outdoors.
