Pembroke Pines, FL – (February 22, 2022) The City of Pembroke Pines Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department welcomes residents, friends and guests to enjoy a Free Jazz in the Pines concert this Sunday, February 27, 2022 featuring EJ’s Company Band from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the plaza, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
While enjoying the concert and outdoors, those guests in attendance can set up lawn chairs for utmost comfort, spread a blanket, grab some snacks, refreshments and take in an enjoyable performance with both family and friends.
No pets are allowed. All concerts are held weather permitting and are subject to change.
The City of Pembroke Pines Art and Cultural Division has brought back Live Painting Artists that will accompany and complement the featured musician. The live painting artist for this particular show is “Egypt Hagan.”
The family-oriented Jazz in the Pines concert series includes nine concerts over the course of the calendar year, held on Sunday afternoons. The next Jazz in the Pines Concert will take place on Sunday, March 27, 2022 with featured band Glyn Dryhurst Dixieland Band with live painting artist Andrew Escudero.
Lastly, the City of Pembroke Pines encourages the wearing of face coverings and social distancing to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
