Pembroke Pines, FL (February 1, 2022) - The City of Pembroke Pines, Broward County Parks and Recreation and the School Board of Broward County welcome families, friends and guests to take part in a City of Kindness Event on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Charles F. Dodge City located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines. This is a new location from previous Kindness events.
Taking place during the lunchtime hours, all of those in attendance can maximize their fun and relaxation by taking the opportunity to enjoy “kind” performances on stage, poetry, yoga, storytelling and many more peaceful activities. Pack a picnic basket and bring a blanket. There will be awards for the best decorated picnic area. Admission and parking are free. Residents and friends are encouraged to tag their acts of kindness with #PinesisKind on this day.
City of Kindness is the growing center of the kind movement composed of a coalition of organizations working to inspire kindness around the world to affect meaningful change among schools, young people, companies, elected officials and professionals.
