Pembroke Pines, FL (November 24, 2021) – Tickets are still available for the The City of Pembroke Pines annual Snowfest and Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This free event is open to Pembroke Pines residents only.
Snow is definitely in the South Florida forecast for the event as 75 tons of it will be showcased. Tis the Season for Freezin’ so residents will be able to enjoy free rides, holiday activities, visits from Santa Claus himself, a wide array of musical performances with over 300 singers and dancers taking the holiday stage and much more. New to Snowfest this year is the Ugly Sweater contest, where roaming judges will hand out prizes between 5:00-6:00 p.m. for those showcasing the most revolting holiday sweaters imaginable. At 6:30 p.m., the tree Lighting Ceremony in the Plaza will officially kick off the holiday season. Concessions and food trucks will be available for both food and drink purchases. Parking and event entry are both free of charge.
As this event is open to Pembroke Pines residents only, tickets are mandatory for entry to this year’s Snowfest, and they are still available. Tickets can be obtained at the Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center located at 10500 Taft Street in Pembroke Pines. Tickets are free and can be picked up in person with proof of residency prior to the event. Ticket availability is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Additionally, tickets will be available for pickup Monday- Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and both Saturday - Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
