Pembroke Pines, FL - (September 29, 2021) Visitors, residents and friends of the City of Pembroke Pines are cordially invited to enjoy the opening event of “Coping Behind The Mask”, a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that represents self-expression and creativity to cultivate social, emotional and physical wellness in persons of all ages and with unique abilities. Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs this Friday, October 1, 2021 through November 10, 2021. Everyone is welcome to take part in and enjoy an opening reception being held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, music and an opportunity to meet the artists.
Exhibition artists include: Apia, Ashely Irizarry, Jillian Blake, Juan Bernal, Rey Lozano, Kim Frimel, Kay Kiria, Lloyd Goradesky, Sandra Encaoua, Sharonda Eccentrich Richardson, Alex Obed, and Lavonne ‘Honeyxbun’ Powell.
Lastly, As the COVID-19 pandemic continues in the United States, the wearing of facemasks will be required inside Studio 18.
The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays. Parking and admission into the studio are free.
