Pembroke Pines, FL (September 21, 2021) – They’ll be able to honk the horn and grab a seat behind the wheel as Pembroke Pines residents, friends, guests and children are encouraged to join The City of Pembroke Pines for the annual Touch-A-Truck Vehicle Expo this Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
The Touch-A-Truck vehicle expo provides children of all ages the opportunity to get an up close and personal look by climbing, exploring and touching emergency response vehicles, tow trucks, motorcycles, swat cars, heavy machinery, construction vehicles and all sorts of other equipment that is used for transportation.
Additionally, the children will also get an opportunity to meet the personnel and interact with those who serve the Pembroke Pines community as well as protect it, including both firefighters and police officers. Taking the learning experience to another level, this gives both children and families the chance to ask a large assortment of questions and actually gain familiarity of what the vehicles are actually like.
Both parking and admission to the event are free of charge. Furthermore, the first 100 kids in attendance will receive a FREE Touch A Truck t-shirt; first 350 children will be provided with a hot wheels toy and the first 500 will get an event hard hat.
Lastly, the City of Pembroke Pines encourages the wearing of face coverings and social distancing to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
