Pembroke Pines, FL (February 13, 2020) Artists can currently register for the 22nd Annual ArtFest in the Pines, in partnership with Artserve, taking place on March 14 - 15, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines. The two-day art festival will feature a wide assortment of distinctive works of art in categories such as Jewelry, Drawing, Mixed Media, Digital Art, Painting, Wood, Glass, Fine Handcrafts, Photography and Three-Dimensional Sculpture. Artists who desire to be a part of ArtFest in the Pines and show off their work can apply online at www.ppines.com/artfest. Additionally, there will be cash prizes for medium groupings and best in show. Both parking and admission are free of charge.

Additionally, ArtFest will be providing the best musical entertainment South Florida has to offer, delicious food and refreshments from the food truck invasion, hands-on art demonstrations, a kids’ game-zone, a student art competition, adult and children workshops at The Frank Art Gallery on the plaza and much more.
Lastly, as part of ArtFest, the 3rd Annual Student Art Competition will take place on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. This competition is open to students who either reside or go to school in Pembroke Pines. Students in grades K-12 are eligible to apply. Winners in each grade level will receive both a ribbon and gift card as follows: 1st place: $100 gift card, 2nd place: $50 gift card, 3rd place: $25 gift card. Following the awards presentation, contestants are invited to take part in a free ice cream celebration. A completed application along with the student’s artwork will be accepted at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines now through March 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
