Pembroke Pines, FL – (February 12, 2020) The City of Pembroke Pines Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department welcomes residents, friends and guests to enjoy the easy listening of a Free Jazz in the Pines concert featuring Jazz Vocalist Debbie Orta on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the plaza, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
While enjoying the musical performance and outdoors, those in attendance can set up lawn chairs, spread a blanket, grab some snacks, refreshments and take in an enjoyable performance with family and friends.
No pets are allowed. All concerts are held weather permitting and are subject to change.
The City of Pembroke Pines Art and Cultural Division has brought back Live Painting Artists that will accompany and complement the featured musician. The live painting artist for this particular show is A Emmanuel.
The family-oriented Jazz in the Pines concert series includes nine concerts over the course of the calendar year, held on Sunday afternoons. The next Jazz concert will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature Sound of Vision with Barbara Evans and Live Painting Artist Carlos Solano.
