Pembroke Pines, FL - (January 7, 2020) Visitors, residents and friends of the City of Pembroke Pines are cordially invited to enjoy the opening event of “Faces: Featuring the Pines West Camera Club”, a free Art Exhibition at Studio 18 in the Pines that represents photographs taken from all around the world. This exhibition will explore the essence of humanity, one face at a time. Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, the exhibition runs January 17, 2020 through February 26, 2020. Everyone is welcome to take part in and enjoy an opening reception being held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. which includes wine, refreshments, an opportunity to meet the artists and a Live Living Installation performance provided by Kikimora Studio.
In addition to the exhibition, there will also be a free Image Transfer Technique Workshop featuring artist Yochi Yakir-Avin on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This workshop will demonstrate countless image transferring techniques and create a Photo Image Transfer on paper. The community is welcome at Studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The art gallery is closed on Federal Holidays. Parking and admission into the studio are free.
