Pembroke Pines, FL – (December 12, 2019) The City of Pembroke Pines Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department welcomes residents, friends and guests to kick off 2020 and enjoy a Free Jazz in the Pines concert featuring the Jude Amazon Band on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the plaza, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
  
While enjoying the outdoors, the community can experience the vibrant performance of the Jude Amazon Band.  There is plenty of space to set up lawn chairs, spread a blanket, grab some snacks, refreshments and take in an enjoyable performance with family and friends.   

No pets are allowed. All concerts are held weather permitting and are subject to change. 

The City of Pembroke Pines Art and Cultural Division has brought back Live Painting Artists that will accompany and complement the featured musician.  The live painting artist for this particular show is Alan Rae Shatkin.
 
The family-oriented Jazz in the Pines concert series includes nine concerts over the course of the calendar year, held on Sunday afternoons.  The next Jazz concert will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature singer Debbie Orta and Live Painting Artist A. Emmanuel.
